If you would like to read a Bible in which these chapter and verse divisions have been removed, check out The Books of the Bible: a presentation of Today’s New International Version.

This version has also removed chapter headings, and is arranged partly chronologically and partly topically.

Don’t worry, Ellen. They can run, but they can’t hide from God. The Holy Spirit will simply attract them to another site that reveals Jesus Christ. They are being wooed by God without even knowing it.

Excellent points, Ellen. Very well done.

And I might add that God’s inerrant consistency is revealed in Jesus Christ who came to serve, not be served (Mark 10:45), and who healed a child rather than requiring a child’s sacrifice (Mark 5: 35-43).
