    This seems not a good logic to me.

    I like the honest opinion.

    We believe in immortality (God/heaven) not because we can prove it, but because it is in our psyche. There is something in us (Holy Spirit) that helps us believe.

    This isn’t, of course, the only reason we believe, but it is an interesting idea.
